Century members and employees helped make a difference in the lives of those facing cancer by donating money and comforting items to Card Care Connection (CCC), a local nonprofit, in April.
Items like lotion, beauty products, cozy socks, candles, toys, journals, and more were collected during a month-long drive at both of our branches. Additional items were purchased with monetary donations. These thoughtful gifts were included in free care packages that CCC sends to cancer patients across the country.
“These uplifting items will offer additional support to cancer patients, bringing comfort and hope at a time when they need it most,” says Aleeza Granote, executive director of CCC. “We are honored that Century Credit Union has responded with such compassion, and we are so grateful for your partnership. Your ongoing support makes our mission possible.”
