Two $1,000 scholarships are awarded to runners-up. Overall, 5,000 is disbursed annually.
Since the inception of our scholarship program in 2004, 54 students have been recognized for their academic excellence, involvement in school activities, leadership, and community service, with a total of $42,000 awarded through July 2026.
Applications are accepted online only, beginning in December, with a March deadline each year for submissions.
$25 minimum deposit to open. Parent needs to be listed on the account through age 17. At age 18, an individual can open an account of their own or request parent(s) be removed as a joint owner on an existing Boost account. 10.00% APY is paid on a special, six-month CD available to teens only. On regular savings accounts, teens score almost double the interest adults do.
