Becky Dalton reached a remarkable milestone today – her 30th work anniversary with Century Credit Union! She is currently our longest-tenured employee.
Becky’s journey with us began back in 1995, when she first entered the world of credit unions as a teller at First American Credit Union. Little did we know at the time she would become such an integral part of our team.
After First American’s merger with Century Credit Union in 1997, Becky’s skills and determination propelled her to expand her expertise beyond the teller window. She started new roles in back-office accounting and member services, learning the ins and outs of what it takes to truly support our members.
In the late 1990s, Becky became a one-person department, handling all facets of our new debit card program. As her career progressed, she took on additional responsibilities, including the management of our credit card program in 2007.
In 2020, Becky’s leadership qualities were recognized when she was promoted to branch manager of our Arnold office. In this capacity, Becky continues to help our members navigate their financial needs and ensures that we operate in full compliance with the laws and regulations that protect both our members and our institution.
Reflecting on her long career, Becky says she has learned a lot while working at Century, finding the job "rewarding” and “challenging.”
The best part about her job? "Helping people and knowing that I've done my best to make their lives a little better. You really get to know people over the many years of helping them.”
She adds, “It has also been great to work in such a positive employee environment. I have worked with, and for, some fantastic people over the years.”
