Joshua Wallace never stops learning, growing and looking for ways to make our credit union even stronger. He recently became a Certified Credit Union Investments Professional (CCUIP) after completing a program offered by America’s Credit Unions.
So, what does all that investment training mean for Century? Simply put, Joshua learned even more about how to make our money work harder.
Ideally, we put members’ deposits to work by lending those funds to other members for cars, homes and other needs. But when we have more deposits than we can put into loans, we don’t want that money just sitting around. We safely invest those funds so they can continue earning income for Century — and ultimately benefit our members.
Joshua also holds certifications as a Bank Secrecy Act Compliance Specialist and a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor, reflecting his commitment to continually expanding his knowledge and putting it to work for Century and the people we serve.
